This quick tutorial will help you to connect and manage your databases using Sequel Pro on your Siteground websites.
First of all you need to enable your IP to access from a remote server. So go to your cPanel and select the Remote MySQL. Once you’re there just add your IP and save.
Open Sequel Pro and select TCP/IP connection.
Socket or SSH connection will not work. Your host should be your main domain or your IP from your Account Information. Your username and password is what you have created under MySQL Databases on the cPanel.
Why using Sequel Pro?
Because you can run queries, visualize data, import and export databases with ease.
As far as I know the Growbig plan, which is the one I have, does not let you create database. You’ll have to do this under the cPanel.
